Swan City Ice Skaters recently lost a friend, a mentor, a daughter, and a wonderful, kind individual. We are deeply saddened by the loss of 13 year old Alysa Sadowski. She passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, after she collapsed at track practice at the Beaver Dam Middle School. Alysa skated with Swan City Ice Skaters for the past 7 years. She was a past member of the SwanSyncSation Synchronized Skating team and most recently competed in several solo competitions.
Alysa's father, Scott Sadowski, is a member of the Swan City Ice Skaters' Board of Directors. Scott and his wife, Ann, Alysa's mother, spent countless hours volunteering their time in support of SCIS and the Beaver Dam Family Center.
Words can never express the sorrow and pain we feel for our friends. However, our deepest and most sincere sympathies go out to the entire Sadowski family. Alysa's beautiful smile and loving spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all Swan City Ice Skaters.
--Sincerely,
Pam Dietz, SCIS President
