SCIS would like to invite you to compete at Swan Skate Autumn Invitational 2009!! This event will be hosted by Swan City Ice Skaters at the Beaver Dam Family Center, 609 Gould Street, Beaver Dam, WI, on Friday & Saturday, October 2-3, 2009 Click here for more information. Come Join Us! - 2009 SCIS Basic Skills Competition will be hosted by Swan City Ice Skaters at the Beaver Dam Family Center, 609 Gould Street, Beaver Dam, WI on Sunday, October 4, 2009. This competition will be the final event in the 2009 U.S. Figure Skating Wisconsin Basic Skills series. The series awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of this competition. Swan City Ice Skaters is proud to offer the 2nd Annual Summer Skills Clinic on Saturday, July 25, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. (earliest start time) – 1:35 p.m. (latest end time). We welcome back Aidas Reklys, Lithuanian National Champion World & European Freeskate & Ice Dance Competitor; Larissa Zamotina, 2-Time National Soviet Union Bronze Medalist, Gold Medalist in World University Games, Bronze Medalist in NHK in Japan, & European Competitor; and Susie Christensen, Licensed Athletic Trainer. The Registration Fee is $60.00, and the registration deadline is Saturday, July 11, 2009. Download the registration form on the Events/Dates page by clicking here. New this summer - we are also excited to be teaming with Susie Christensen, Performer's Advantage, LLC, to offer Conditioning for Figure Skaters. The summer session will focus on Core Stabilization, Age & Level Appropriate Periodized Strength Training, Flexibility & Balance Training, Posture Restoration & Alignment, and Tips for Improving Skating Feature Moves.
